ZipLearn Mini Kit
Budding engineers learn big lessons in gravity, speed, and slope with a small version of our ZipLearn zip line kit!
Students construct a functioning mini zip line without needing a large amount of space! Start with a classroom door, place the door stoppers in the frame, close the door, attach the twine, and extend it to a stationary object. Next, students construct a vehicle with the included supplies and by the predetermined guidelines. Then, it’s time to experiment and let students’ creations traverse the line! Manipulate variables such as angles or weight to see how they affect the results.
Setup and storage are a breeze thanks to the simplistic and compact design. Each foam door stopper (3” sq) keeps two lines in place with ample tension and is covered in heavy-duty polyester. The nylon webbing straps (8”L x 1”W) includes grommets (.5” dia) to quickly attach or detach lines. Recommended for Elementary and up.
Purchase additional door stoppers individually to build more zip lines with existing classroom materials.
