Wonder Workshop STEM Center Suite Curriculum Kits

STEM Center Suite Kits include a large assortment of tools, robotics lessons, and a license for use by 3 teachers and 300 students in 1 school. Kits include 8 Dash robots, allowing a teacher to divide the class into 10 small groups. Students can use Blockly to program their robots in the free mobile app, which provides a rich 3D environment. Students can log in on their own devices to preserve and track their own progress as they complete activities. Sketch Kits let students get creative as they draw shapes and patterns, while the Gripper Building Kits feature a set of functioning arms that incorporate gears, levers, and axles. The Launchers turn Dash into a projectile-firing prankster. Students can also boost the fun with Brick Connectors that are compatible with most building bricks.

The curriculum provides everything teachers need to introduce coding and robotics, assign challenges, and monitor progress. The included Make Wonder license covers 3 teachers and 300 students in 1 school for 1, 2, or 3 years. It also provides access to a Virtual Dash robot to provide a 1:1 experience. Virtual Dash lets student program onscreen, provides accounts in the programming app, and gives them access to Coding Pathways with new content added often. In Coding Pathways, students can find in-app, multimedia coding lessons and instructional videos. There’s also access to standards-aligned math activities, challenge cards, and lessons that can filtered by subject or grade level. In addition, there is enrollment for 1 teacher to Teach Wonder, an online professional development mini course focused on Dash. Along with the license is full access for all students to missions associated with the Wonder League Robotics Competition. Full contents list below. Recommended for Elementary and up.
