Start to STEM Makerspace Kits
Start to STEM Makerspace Kits have everything you need to inspire budding engineers.
Within these packs, you will find all the materials needed to inspire open-ended creativity while learning about the challenges that real-world engineers face every day.
The FabricationStation Deluxe provides a rolling cart, storage solutions, and supplies for the makerspace on the go. Students can work directly on the surface of the cart, providing additional tabletop space in your classroom. Additionally, the Makerspace Tool Bag and kit provides necessary supplies and organization for makerspace tools. Our Safety Glasses storage keeps eye protection organized and designated per student for easy cleaning purposes. Keep students safe and engaged by displaying the Makerspace Rules Poster proudly in your new space.
In this ultimate classroom pack, you will also find top makerspace supplies loved by teachers everywhere like the BrickLab Brick Pack, Cardboard Connectors, Coroplast, Strawbees, and Keva Planks. The CreateKit Machine Kit also adds supplies like foam board, craft sticks, wheels, rubber bands, and more. Recommended for Elementary and up.

Next Generation Science Standards*:
- K-2-ETS1-1: Define a simple problem that can be solved through the development of a new or improved object or tool.
- K-2-ETS1-2: Develop sketches, drawings, or physical models to illustrate how an object or tool can solve a given problem.
- K-2-ETS1-3: Analyze data from tests of two objects designed to solve the same problem and compare their strengths and weaknesses.
- 3-5-ETS1-1: Define a design problem with specific criteria for success and constraints on materials, time, or cost that can be solved with an engineering solution.
- 3-5-ETS1-2: Generate and compare multiple solutions to a problem based on how well they meet the criteria and constraints of the design challenge.
- 3-5-ETS1-3: Plan and carry out tests, then improve a design solution based on test results, including the identification of failure points.
- MS-ETS1-1: Define the criteria and constraints of a design problem with precision, ensuring that the challenge is solvable and reflecting societal needs.
- MS-ETS1-2: Evaluate competing design solutions by considering how well each meets the problem’s criteria and constraints.
- MS-ETS1-3: Analyze data from tests to identify the best characteristics of each design solution, combining elements to create a new optimized solution.
- MS-ETS1-4: Develop and use a model to generate data for iterative testing and modification of a proposed object, tool, or process to optimize the design.
- HS-ETS1-1: Analyze a major global challenge, specifying qualitative and quantitative criteria and constraints for solutions.
- HS-ETS1-2: Design a solution to a complex real-world problem by breaking it down into smaller, manageable problems that can be solved through engineering.
- HS-ETS1-3: Evaluate the effectiveness of a solution to a complex problem based on prioritized criteria and trade-offs that take into account a broad range of constraints, including cost, safety, reliability, and aesthetics.
