Shuffleboard Probability
Students learn about probability as they add math skills to classic shuffleboard games!
Engage in probability lessons while playing a game of shuffleboard. Students can determine the chance of the disc landing on different sections of the mat or guess the likelihood of it landing in certain sections after 50 or 100 attempts. They can also use addition and subtraction skills to include an additional element of competitiveness.
Heavy-duty plastic shuffleboard mat has a water-resistant coating, allowing for play indoors or out and ensuring its longevity. Roll the mat for compact storage. 52"L cues feature an aluminum shaft that's lightweight, yet strong. The molded head provides better control when aiming and shooting. A molded grip perfectly enhances control and fits most hand sizes. Cues include wrist straps to ensure they stay in the hands of students.
Set includes 15'L x 30"W mat, 4 cues (2 ea red, blue), 8 discs (3-1/2" dia; 4 ea red, blue), and lesson direction. The included lesson direction details setup instructions, activities by grade level, learning objectives, and teaching suggestions to expand lessons. Recommended for Elementary and up.
