Series and Parallel Circuit Kits
Everything from digital watches to electronic fuel delivery on today’s vehicles relies on circuits to create the required electricity. Students learn the fundamentals of circuitry as they follow the flow of electrons from a battery. They’ll see how the power of circuits can convert potential energy of electrons into chemical, electrical, light, sound, motion, and heat energy! Then they’ll observe how energy flow differs when using batteries and loads in series and in parallel. Accommodates a full class (approximately 24 students) for 5 hours of instruction and 5 hours of interactive lab time. Two versions of the kit come with or without batteries. See full contents lists below. Recommended for Elementary and up.
