Scout Digital Microscopes

Built rugged for younger users, these digital microscopes ignite curiosity for budding scientists by introducing them to a fascinating world invisible to the naked eye. The Scout Microscope includes six lenses that rotate around a vertical wheel to magnify objects from 100x to 600x. A one-touch button snaps instant photos and video of exciting happenings in real-time. Display magnified images and live video on a 1,600 x 1,200 resolution monitor via a common USB connection, allowing the whole class to participate in investigations. Two light sources allow for clearer imaging and better viewing. The Scout Microscope is 10"L x 9"W x 5-1/2"H; 1-1/2 lb.

The ScoutPro Microscope includes a 4" digital display that magnifies objects up to 5x. Teachers can use the monitor to display video, images, or live viewing of specimens. Students can zoom in on an image with the included remote control. Teachers can also use a USB cable to transmit images to a larger monitor and share images with the entire class. The ScoutPro Microscope is 12"L x 9"W x 6-1/4"H; 3 lb.

Prepared Microscope Slides are sold separately and can be used on either microscope. Set includes 6 slides, each with 4 ready-to-view specimens. Slides are labeled and include such specimens as roots, leaves, pollen, wings, legs, hair, and even a microscopic creature.
