PathProcess Kit

Explore algorithms through an unplugged computer science low ropes course. Students work together in teams to make it from one side of a balance beam to another. Challenge students to write an algorithm for the groups to follow in order to get their teams to switch platforms by crossing the balance beam without touching the floor. Each group begins on one poly platform and executes the algorithm as written to get to the other platform. Along the way, students may need to rewrite the steps of their process, applying critical thinking skills and teamwork.

Set includes 2 PathProcess poly platforms (3'L x 3'W x 1/4"H each), 1 foam balance beam (94"L x 4"-6"W x 4"H; 12 lb), and lesson direction to use with up to 24 students. The included lesson direction details setup instructions, activities by grade level, learning objectives, and teaching suggestions to expand lessons. Recommended for Elementary and up.
