Ozobot Challenge Mat: Ocean Explorer
Students use Ozobot accessories to dive into the depths of ocean exploration while developing coding skills by programming Evo through four distinct ocean STEM activities.
In the Intertidal Zone, students will explore the plants and animals that thrive where the land meets the sea, learning about the diverse ecosystems in this dynamic environment. The Sunlight Zone introduces underwater archaeology, where students investigate ancient artifacts and gain insight into the history of submerged sites. Moving to the Twilight Zone, students will study the fascinating biodiversity of sea creatures that adapt to low light and harsh conditions. Finally, the Midnight Zone takes students into the deep sea, where they'll explore complex coral reefs and the unique organisms that call this mysterious environment home.
Students will use Blockly to complete challenges on the mat (24"L x 33"W), which fits most classroom desks. The durable materials ensure long-lasting use, while Evo robot (sold separately) allows for hands-on learning that enhances problem-solving, teamwork, and programming skills. Accommodates 4 students. Recommended for Elementary and up.
