OLLO Excel Robot Kit
Students build more complex robots and control them with a Bluetooth controller or block-based coding.
This OLLO robotics kit encourages elementary students to delve deeper as they build using extra components like caterpillar tracks, balls, and wheels to enhance the functionality of the robots. Then, students use their devices to write block-based codes in R-Block or use the included controllers to guide their robot through various maneuvers. The R-block coding platform with optional AI features is accessible via Bluetooth device with access to app or web. With the RB-100 controller registered in the STEAMCUP app, students can train and “raise" their robots as virtual pets.
Students build and code up to 36 different robots. The included 36 lessons have an introduction to robotics concepts, related extension activities, and illustrated assembly instructions. Curriculum includes lessons on coding and programming with R-Block on a smart device. Requires 3 AA batteries, not included. Step 4 in the Robotis STEAMCUP lineup. 5 lb. Recommended for Elementary.
