MathemActive Slam Dunk Game
Students give each other an assist as they sharpen their math skills while playing a round of basketball!
Enhance math and motor skills at the same time with a fast-paced activity! The instructor selects a card and calls out the equation. The first student to determine the correct answer calls it out, dribbles the ball the same number of times toward the basketball goal, then takes aim and shoots the ball. Laminated, color-coded cards test students' addition (7 cards), subtraction (6 cards), multiplication (4 cards), and division skills (4 cards). Each double-sided, 3-1/2"W x 5"H card features a different equation on the front and back. There are also 4 cards with mathematical symbols that let teachers create their own equations. Durable, lightweight ABS hoop is easy to relocate and store.
Set includes basketball goal (48"H x 36" dia bottom, 20" dia top; 8 lb), 25 cards with a storage box, 6 Duraball Basketballs (size 6), and an instruction card explaining game play. The included lesson direction details setup instructions, activities by grade level, learning objectives, and teaching suggestions to expand lessons. Recommended for Elementary.
