Students work together to solve the puzzle as fast as they can so there is only 1 pin reaming on the mat. Start by placing the pins on the mat, leaving one space open. One by one, students run and select a pin to move to an empty space. Pins can move only by jumping over another pin, removing any pins that get jumped over. Play continues until there is only 1 pin remaining. Teachers can also eliminate the relay aspect and encourage students to discuss and work through the puzzle together. You can also divide the class into small teams and see which team can solve the puzzle the fastest.
Vinyl mat withstands consistent use and includes 15 open spaces. Durable polypropylene plastic pins are lightweight for easy movement.
