MathemActive 10-Frame Set
Students work on basic operations, number sense, and counting skills with an oversized ten-frame set representing numbers 1 through 20.
Ten-frame activities provide an engaging way to teach math skills to students. Place cotton beanbags on the vinyl mat to learn counting, introduce place value, and represent equations with basic operations like 3+4=7. Beanbags (4"L x 4"W) are labeled on one side with numbers 1-10 to help students recognize numerals. The blank side of the beanbags can be placed on the mats to represent a quantity or equation, challenging students to recall the associated numerals. Students can start with 1 mat (40"L x 15"W; 2 lb) to gain basic number sense with numbers 1-10, then progress to 2 mats for equations with 1-20.
Four colored sets of beanbags allow students to visualize equations using different colors to represent each value. Oversized design gets students up, active, and away from their desks! The included lesson direction guides students through exciting, collaborative learning activities to develop foundational math skills. Set includes 2 mats and 40 beanbags.
