Highly adaptable beanbag bowling game uses existing launchers to help aspiring engineers develop important math skills.
Ready, set, launch! In an exciting twist on classic bowling, students use this bowling set to demonstrate an understanding of force and trajectory as they launch a beanbag to knock over the bowling pins using an existing launcher.
Beanbags of 5 different weights (50 g, 100 g, 200 g, 500 g, and 1,000 g) add a variable to increase the challenge for more advanced learners. Polypropylene bowling pins (18"H) with numbered dots like dice allow for more complex game rules and scoring methods. Younger students and beginners get practice with basic math operations as they calculate game scores. Included lesson direction helps instructors adapt activities for a wide range of ages. Launchers not included. Recommended for Elementary and up.
