Both ensure smooth feeding into the printer and extrusion of the product. PLA is biodegradable, made primarily from cornstarch and sugar cane. It has a smoother appearance but is not as durable as ABS and melts at a lower temperature. Because of its organic nature, it is safe to use indoors with minimal ventilation. ABS is oil based, very durable, and melts at a higher temperature. It must be used in a well-ventilated area. Compatible with Flashforge Adventurer 3 and Flashforge Inventor Series 3D Printers. Both filaments are 1.75 mm dia.
