H-Racer 2.0 Kit
Learn about automotive technology of the future while building and driving a hydrogen-powered car!
Hydrogen car kit lets students explore electrolysis and conversion of hydrogen into energy to power a remote-controlled car! Students assemble the car and then watch as a solar panel generates hydrogen in the refueling station. Transparent casings and LED lights on the refueling station and car let students watch the energy production process and get a better understanding of fuel cell technology. After fueling the car, students use an infrared controller to steer it. Included experiment guide leads students through the building and testing process. Full manual and CD provide additional guidance. Lessons meet Next Generation Science Standards. Ideal for up to 2 students. Recommended for Upper Elementary and up.
