Introduce young students to geometry with giant Tangrams!
Students hone geometry and communication skills while working together to connect a variety of polygons to form a larger design! To begin, select one of 24 shape cards and have a small group of students collaborate to combine all 7 pieces to make the picture depicted on the card. Students will learn to identify shapes through hands-on Tangram puzzles, understand how objects relate spatially, and connect geometry skills to the real world.
Pieces are made of durable 3/8” thick polyvinyl material and fit into two 12" squares. Color per piece varies. Shape cards are 8-1/2”H x 5-1/2”W and made of heavy-duty cover stock and feature correct Tangram placement on the back side. Lesson direction is adaptable for grades K-4 and 5-8. Recommended for Elementary and up.
