The Food Chain Kit
Students act as ecologists as they engage in hands-on experiments to understand the food chain for kids.
Dig into age-specific lessons on topics from decomposition and the organisms that live in dirt to symbiotic relationships in a food web activity. Elementary students explore concepts tied to the food chain, while middle school students learn about food web-related topics.
The curriculum details cross-curricular activities, games, art projects, reproducible experiments and more. Required but not included: outdoor soil, turnip, a locally obtained water sample, and moldy food. Microscopes recommended. Accommodates 24 students. Recommended for Elementary and Middle School.
