Environmental Engineering Oil Spill Management Kit

They've likely read about the devastation caused by oil spills, now students can study the effects with small-scale experiments. Kit encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills as students develop a solution to remove oil from water. Learn about the environmental impact, oil biology, and micelle structures. After studying the effects of oil, students work together in pairs to discover methods to remove it from water. They use absorbent materials, skimmers, or introduce a bioremediation agent to clear the oil. Kit accommodates up to 24 students and contains everything needed to simulate an oil spill.
