Edventures Transportation STEAMventures Program
Delve into STEM for kindergarten as our youngest engineers engage in transportation activities while also learning foundational skills.
While learning essential skills in math and language arts, students use communication, creative problem-solving, and artistic expression to design and build different modes of transportation such as boats and trains. Through hands-on, collaborative STEAM activities based in play and movement, children engage in an educational experience that is both fun and enriching.
The program features 12 one-hour, standards-aligned lessons. Perfect for classrooms, summer camps, and afterschool programs, these cross-curricular lessons help young learners develop essential skills for elementary school. Each activity includes a detailed schedule with step-by-step instructions, discussion points, background information, and key vocabulary, ensuring a comprehensive and engaging learning experience. Recommended for Pre-K and Kindergarten.
