Edventures Food STEAMventures Program
These STEM activities for kindergarten teach real-world science applications and early career exploration to how farms operate and how food is grown.
Agriculture curriculum for kids teaches farm life, including the animals, equipment, and buildings involved. They then delve into gardening, learning about how food is cultivated by designing greenhouses and starting their own mini gardens. These hands-on activities make complex concepts accessible and engaging, helping students connect with the world around them.
The curriculum offers 12+ hours of lessons. Perfect for classrooms, summer camps, and afterschool programs, these cross-curricular lessons integrate foundational skills through developmentally appropriate activities like play, coloring, and creative projects. Each activity comes with a detailed schedule, step-by-step instructions, discussion points, and essential background information, ensuring a comprehensive and effective learning experience for early elementary students. 30 students.
