Edventures BrickLAB Zoo Program
Discover the balance of ecosystems, animal adaptations, habitats, and more through brick building challenges with this life science curriculum.
Engineering with bricks meets biology as students engage in standards-aligned animal science curriculum that teaches biological diversity. They will build models of animals, learn about animal adaptations, and explore different habitats through hands-on STEM challenges. This curriculum helps students discover the connection between animals and Earth's biospheres while fostering creative thinking, collaboration, and cross-curricular learning.
The curriculum includes a materials list, step-by-step build instructions, discussion points, optional introduction activities, optional Math and English Language Arts extensions, and engineering challenges. The 12 one-hour standards-aligned lessons are ideal for classrooms, afterschool programs, and summer camps. Accommodates 30 students. Recommended for Early Elementary.
