CreateKit Table Tennis Ball Launcher Kit

Launch into learning as students build a machine that throws a ping pong ball according to criteria determined by the teacher. They begin the lesson by brainstorming and sketching their ideas for a ball launcher. Using an assortment of cups, rubber bands, balloons, craft sticks, and binder clips, students bring their launcher concept to life! After testing it, use the Engineering Design Process for kids to change variables to see how much farther or higher the launcher can throw the ball. Discuss challenges and how students overcame them to successfully launch the ball. Set includes enough materials for up to 24 students to build their own launchers or collaborate in small groups.
