CreateKit Roller Coaster Kit
Students conduct gravity experiments as they design their own roller coasters and put them to the test.
Students use the engineering design process to create a build-your-own roller coaster. Then, test the roller coasters with smooth rolling plastic cars and trucks. Using the included lesson direction, they explore physics concepts including gravity, friction, gravitational potential energy, and kinetic energy as they launch their durable plastic cars.
After the testing is done, students take note of their findings and share them with the class. Kit supports up to 24 students working in small groups. Recommended for Middle School and up.
