Bit Board Rover Kit
Robot building kit allows students to practice block-based programming and create a rover or tank powered by micro:bit.
With the parts included in this programable robot kit, students can build the project in two different ways. Use leftover parts to build a gripper, lifter, or sweeper attachment. Easily control the project from your cell phone using an app and Bluetooth or create a remote control using the extra parts included in the sets. The project is powered by micro:bit and uses several block-based programming languages to broaden students’ exposure to coding.
Feeling inspired? Students can also create their own unique designs using the brick compatible parts. With online lessons and activities, teachers can access a variety of tools and tips to enhance student learning. Batteries and micro:bit not included. Available as an individual kit or in sets of 10 or 25 kits. Sets of 10 and 25 include additional remote control components. Rover is 6”L x 6”W x 6”H; 1 lb. Recommended for Upper Elementary and up.
