Twister
Like Simon Says, but with a full-body twist!
How to Play
Twister is played with just 2 pieces of equipment: a mat and a spinner. The mat has colored dots in rows like a grid. The spinner has these same colors, as well as the names of body parts on it. Students stand on the mat while another player spins the spinner, calling out the color and body part selected. Students on the mat then follow directions. For example, if the objective is “right hand, red," all students must place their right hand on a red square.
As the game progresses, students will become tangled! They'll need to be fast to get to available spots before another player. If a student is unable to keep his/her balance or falls over, or is unable to reach a color with a body part, the player is out. The last player standing wins!
Game includes 1 mat, 1 spinner, and instructions. Accommodates 2 or more students. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
