Robotis Mini Darwin Robot Kit
Students follow the step-by-step assembly instructions and helpful tips in the full-color manual to build the robot. After assembly is complete, they can start programming the robot's embedded open-source board using a drag-and-drop programming tool called RoboPlus Task on their iOS or Windows compatible computer. As skills progress, they can use R+ Motion to choreograph additional motions. Students can also control the movements of the robot using the Robotis Mini App on an iOS or Android device. The mobile app allows students to operate the robot via buttons, gestures, voice recognition, and messenger. Simply recharge the robot between use to continue programming experiments. The robot includes an open source embedded motherboard and a small actuator to move and control the small humanoid robot. Kit includes supplies to build one robot (14"L x 3-3/4"W x 10-1/2"H). Recommended for Middle School and up.
