Giant Bohr model is perfect for introducing the fundamentals of chemistry. Students use color-coded PVC pucks—neutrons (blue), protons (green), and electrons (red)—to model atomic structure on a large vinyl mat. They learn the basics of atom structure as they determine where to position particles in the nucleus and place electrons in the correct shells. Kit includes enough pucks to accurately represent elements up to argon (atomic number 18).
