Distinguish the differences between physical and chemical characteristics of matter through a series of 10 experiments!

Through project-based learning, students uncover the properties of matter including color, odor, solubility, shape, size, texture, density, alkalinity, acidity, states of matter, boiling point, and melting point. They scrutinize the chemical properties and reactions of five solutions with other solutions. Students use the knowledge they gained from these tests to reveal the names of two unknown solutions. Test their newly acquired knowledge using included reproducible data sheets and assessment questions. Kit includes enough testing materials for up to 24 students.
