Constructures Building Set
What does it take to construct a structurally-sound building, pyramid, or arch? Students collaborate and explore various building techniques to discover how the placement of blocks impacts the integrity of a structure. Learn how staggering blocks and the width of the base affects a building, and how to adjust construction techniques to create a stronger structure. Students will also see why the keystone is the most important piece of an arch and how it distributes force to support the arch. Lightweight blocks are made of dense foam that's easy to stack and is not disruptive when a structure falls. These durable blocks are also great for other classroom building activities. Recommended for Elementary and up.
